Moving Firewood Transports Tree-Killing Insects and Diseases. Remember on Corps' lands that fires shall be confined to designated areas and shall be contained in fireplaces, grills, or other facilities designated for this purpose. Fires shall not be left unattended and must be completely extinguished prior to departure. Always check with the local project office for information.

Regular Season Camping Fees:

Regular season camping is from May 1 to September 30 in Minooka and Sylvan Campgrounds.  It begins May 15 and ends September 16 in Lucas Campground.

Basic campsite (no electricty or water) - $12.00

Electric campsite - $18.00

Electric and water campsite - $20.00

Boat Launch Fees (Spillway Boat Ramp and 3 Minooka Ramps):

Day Use - $5.00

Offseason Camping Fees:

Offseason camping is October 1 to April 30 in Minooka and Sylvan Campgrounds.  It begins September 17 and ends May 14 in Lucas Campground.

Overnight camping on basic site - Free

Overnight camping on utility site (water and/or electric) - $10.00

Annual Pass Fees:

America the Beautiful Annual Pass - $80.00 (valid at Federal recreation sites nationwide)

US Army Corps of Engineers Annual Pass - $40.00 (valid at all Corps of Engineers day-use areas including swim beaches and boat ramps)

America the Beautiful Passport: Issued @ OFFICE Only.  Provides Free boat launch and half price fees at federal rec areas.

Senior Pass - $10 (valid to those 62 years and older)

Access Pass - FREE (valid to those providing correct disability identification).

 The 4 year drought has officially come to an end!  A 6" - 8" rain fell in the upstream basin on the evening of 9/3/2016.  The 3rd highest recorded inflow of 24,000cfs was recorded on the Saline River that enters Wilson Lake.  Conservation pool of 1516 feet was reached on 9/6/2016 and continues to rise.  Boat ramps have returned to excellent conditions. Below is a current list of ramp conditions.

Spillway Ramp:  All lanes are open.  Courtesy dock is available. Corps Day Use Fee will be charged at this ramp May 1- SEPT 30.  $5/day at self pay station or purchase a $40 Annual Pass at Corps Office.

Lucas Park Ramp: All lanes are open.  Courtesy dock is available.  No charge at this ramp.

Otoe State Park Ramp (KDWPT):  All lanes are open.  Courtesy dock is available.  KDWPT day use fee is required.

Hell Creek State Park Ramp (KDWPT):  All lanes are open.  Courtesy dock is available.  KDWPT day use fee is required.

Minooka Ramps (East /Middle/West):  All ramps are open.  Courtesy docks will become available.  Corps day use fees will resume in 2017.

 

Sylvan Park

    There is a $10 utility fee charge during the non-recreational season (October 1st to April 30th) at sites that provide electrical hookups. Standard sites without utility hookups are free. The shower building will remain open year round and has heated concrete floors.

Minooka Park

    There is a $10 utility fee charge during the non-recreational season (October 1st to April 30 th) at sites that provide electrical hookups. Standard sites without utility hookups are free. Shower building is closed til May 1st and the vault toliets will remain open.

Lucas Park 
    There is a $10 utility fee charge during the non-recreational season (September 16th to May 14 th) at sites that provide electrical hookups.  Standard sites without utility hookups are free. Shower building is closed until May 15 th and the vault toliets will remain open.
