Project Management Office

Mission: The USACE Galveston District supports a broad spectrum of customers including appropriated and non-appropriated funded programs for the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force, diverse programs for elements of the Department of Defense and environmental and construction programs for other federal agencies and state, local and foreign governments. We provide essential services for the management of Army installations worldwide and maintain the capability to mobilize in response to national security, domestic and water related emergencies.

Goals

  • Execute programs supporting the management of Army installations worldwide
  • Provide quality, responsive engineering services to the nation
  • Manages and execute engineering, constructions and real estate programs for the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force
  • Provide design, construction management and real estate support for the DoD, other federal agencies and state, local and foreign governments
  • Manage research and development projects in support of authorized programs
  • Plan, develop and execute civil works water resources development programs
  • Maintain the capability to mobilize in response to national security emergencies, domestic emergencies and emergency water planning programs
