 Draft Hurricane Sandy Limited Re-evaluation Report & Draft Environmental Assessment

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, in conjunction with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (NYS Parks) has conducted a draft Environmental Assessment (EA) and draft Hurricane Sandy Limited Re-evaluation (HSLRR) to evaluate potential coastal storm damage risk reduction measures for the Montauk Point, New York lighthouse complex.

May 4, 2016- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York District, announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Assessment (DEA) with Draft Finding of No Significant Impact (DFONSI) for the proposed Montauk Point, N.Y., Coastal Storm Risk Management Project and the opening of the 30-day review period for the public to submit written comments. The public comment period will end June 3, 2016.
