Welcome to Your Parks

The parks hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District are a string of lovely jewels set in the sunny valleys of California -- from Black Butte in the north to Success Lake in the south. They offer stunning visual contrast -- golden hills to deep blue waters; sites rich in California history; and natural wonders in every season.

Camping, fishing, boating, hiking, bird-watching and a thousand other special family memories await you. We proudly invite you to come and discover (or rediscover) your USACE Sacramento District Parks.

Park Fees

The Corps of Engineers is now included in the America the Beautiful interagency pass!  For a one time purchase of $80, you have access to all of your favorite Corps parks in addition to all the other federal public lands and national parks for one year after the date of purchase.

Individuals 62 years or older can buy a $10 lifetime senior pass, which does not expire. All other passes and kids 15 years or younger are free of charge at all federal recreation areas. Senior and access pass holders also receive a 50 percent discount on campsites at Corps-managed campgrounds.

Be sure to pick up your America the Beautiful pass at any of our parks as the money is turned right around and invested in the facilities to improve your recreational experience.

Get details about the America the Beautiful pass series here http://1.usa.gov/1T6TRMt.

There are standard fees for visitors to use day-use facilities and campgrounds in the Corps Sacramento District parks. A day-use fee of $5 covers your use of a day-use recreation area for one 24-hour period. An annual pass allows unlimited access to all day-use recreation areas for one year from date of purchase at a cost of $40.

Camping fees vary by campground and campsite amenities.  Paid campers do not need to pay an additional day-use fee.  Regardless of the fee or recreation area, always display your permit or receipt showing proof of payment when there is a fee in place.
