The Technical Support Branch of Engineering and Construction Division provides quality, responsive and cost effective engineering services to the District and the region in support of planning, engineering and design and construction of authorized projects. Services provided by the Branch include all cost engineering functions, collection of survey data, mapping support, relocations of public utilities and procurement and administration of Architect-Engineer (A-E) Contracts and services. The District’s value engineering program is managed by the Value Engineering Officer who reports to the Technical Support Branch Chief. The Branch also provides support to emergency operations during disaster or catastrophic events and is the regional functional proponent lead for A-E contracting in MVD.
