It is the policy of the United States government to provide maximum practicable contracting opportunities to veteran-owned, service-disabled-veteran-owned, small-disadvantaged, woman-owned or HUB Zone small businesses. To that end, the district's deputy for small business provides advice and guidance to the Corps' acquisition community and the small business community for all acquisitions of more than $10,000. The goal of the St. Paul District's Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization Program Office is to facilitate access for small businesses to obtain opportunities to contract with the Corps of Engineers through the St. Paul District.
Conferences and Seminars
The Small Business Programs Office has an outreach program. This program gives the deputy for Small Business the opportunity to speak with small businesses, government personnel and local communities about the various programs that support small businesses located within the St. Paul District. You may find the deputy for Small Business at the following conferences, seminars, procurement fairs and other events that help small businesses learn about contracting opportunities with the St. Paul District as well as the federal government in general.
