ALBUQUERQUE DISTRICT

Our Military Works Program consists of a variety of design and construction activities in support of our military customers. We have extensive experience in the design and construction of family housing, dormitories, bridges, hangars, research facilities, airfields, and remodeling existing structures. We also provide design-build solutions, including Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation and proposal evaluation, construction materials analysis and design and utility distribution upgrades.

Interagency and International Services (IIS) is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) program providing technical assistance to non-Department of Defense (DoD) federal agencies, state and local governments, tribal nations, private U.S. firms, international organizations, and foreign governments. Most IIS work is funded on a reimbursable basis. The Corps provides engineering and construction services, environmental restoration and management services, research and development assistance, management of water and land related natural resources, relief and recovery work, and other  management and technical services.

Federal Agencies:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers may assist federal agencies.  Examples of federal agencies the District has worked with include the Air Force, Customs and Border Patrol and Bureau of Indian Affairs.

State, Local or Tribal Support:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers may provide specialized or technical services to a State or local government under section 6505 of title 31, United States Code, in accordance with Section 211 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 (PL 106-541) as amended by Section 109 of the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Act of 2002 (PL 107-66). Work requested by Tribal Governments is authorized under  the provisions of  10 USC 3036(d)(2).
