Willow Creek Dam is located in the town of Heppner, Ore., about 45 miles south of Hermiston, Ore.
Willow Creek Dam was completed in 1983. It is the first major dam in the United States constructed using the roller-compacted concrete technique.
The authorized primary project purposes are flood damage reduction, water supply and irrigation.
