CQM for Contractors Course

USACE New York District will be hosting the  Construction Quality Management for Contractors Course

All classes will be held on the 6th Floor in the Conference Center. The specific conference room number will be posted on the 6th Floor conference room directory on the day of the class. Class space is limited to the first 25 students, and the registration deadline is two weeks prior to the start date.

The course will begin at 9am promptly, both days.

The course itself is free of charge and the student is responsible all others incidental charges (transportation, etc.).

Further instructions/information will be provided to participants registered within two weeks of class start date.

CQM Class Date for FY18

December  12/13  2017 

 All registered students will be provided the CQM Student Guide online. Each student will be responsible for bringing this guideline to class. Upon satisfactory completion of the class and the Post-Test, students will be issued a Certificate of Completion. This certificate is good for 5 years. At the end of 5 years, the student must retake this class to stay certified.

FAQ’s:

Q: How long is the course instruction?

A: The first day is a full lecture day. The second day the course is typically completed by 1pm.

Q: Who can attend?

A:  Any personnel that you feel would benefit from understanding proper Quality Control procedures, guidelines, and a basic outline of QCS. At a minimum, USACE contracts require that the QC managers have successfully completed this course.

Q: If I have already taken the course and need to recertify, can I just take the test?

A: No. You must fully participate in the course. Certificates are good for 5 years
