Benefits and Entitlements for USACE Positions in Kuwait

Post Differential: 10% - Effective on the 43rd day in Iraq. Not retroactive.

Danger Pay: NA

Sunday Premium: NA

Overtime: 48 hours per pay period

R&R: No R&R authorized. *Employees may use personal leave and funds.

Reintegration Leave: 3 days per six months or more tour

Per Diem: Lodging may be provided in Gov't furnished apartment. If housed off-post, per diem depends on where meals are consumed.

* IAW HQ USACE Policy and JTR: employees deployed to countries other than Iraq are not eligible for R&R but could take chargeable leave and fly Space A on rotator flight or pay for their own tickets.
a. The TAD-KU OIC will use discretion when approving leave and any requested absence will be weighed against the mission requirements which will take priority.
b. For deployees, both military and Civilian, who are on 9 month tours, either initially or through an approved extension, 14 days of chargeable leave is authorized.
