LOS ANGELES DISTRICT

The Congressional Liaison is directly responsible to the Commander for legislative affairs, including monitoring and responding to federal/state budget and policy initiatives, and coordinating and executing the District's Congressional policy and strategy. The liaison ensures the overall integration of the District's efforts with Congress, develops comprehensive congressional engagement strategies for District senior leaders, and disseminates critical information on all major Congressional activities. The Liaison provides a single point of contact to facilitate resolution or a timely response to a wide variety of critical, high-profile, and time-sensitive issues.
