  1. Website changes
    As part of the agency’s Transformation Strategy, the Commission has approved staff to offer online advertising on its websites. The web advertising is intended to generate revenue to support the park system and provide a greater service to our customers by connecting them with local     and other businesses who offer products and services that may be of interest to outdoor recreation enthusiasts – and products and services in alignment with the State Parks mission.   

    To ensure full compliance with the federal agency that owns “.GOV” domains, we have changed this site to be an entry page to the new website address where we will be offering online advertising. One of the links from above will take you to the new website address. The new website address, www.parks.state.wa.us, has the same information, navigation, structure and existing content as the previous address.

    If you have bookmarked interior web pages, please navigate to the page through the new URL at www.parks.state.wa.us, and bookmark the new website address.

    We will strive to keep all online advertising professional and appropriately placed so as to not interfere with the user’s experience on our site.

  1. Cama Beach State Park
    Cama Beach is located on the southwest shore of Camano Island, facing Saratoga Passage. Cama Beach offers visitors a chance to step back in time to a 1930s-era Puget Sound fishing resort complete with waterfront cedar cabins and bungalows. Visitors can explore the expansive shoreline, gaze at beautiful sunsets, view an array of wildlife, hike or bike the area's 15 miles of trails, or take in a boating workshop with the Center for Wooden Boats.
