Contracting

Each District has Contracting and Small Business Offices, except for our Europe District, which only has a Contracting Office. The North Atlantic Division does not award contracts directly. Contracts are awarded by Districts within the Division.

Additionally, general Federal Business Opportunites for District Offices within the North Atlantic Division can be found at FedBizOpps or when searched by District.

Small Business

District Small Business Offices will assist with small business contracting/subcontracting opportunities. The Small Business Office can be found under the Business With Us menu on each District's website.

The Corps of Engineers has a strong commitment to the Small Business Program and uses set-aside and evaluation preference programs authorized by Federal procurement regulations. Set-aside programs protect small firms from having to compete with large firms, and evaluation preference programs allow the Federal government to award contracts to smaller firms even if their offered price is slightly higher than a large firm’s price.

The North Atlantic Division supports the Government's policy of placing a fair proportion of contracts with qualified small, small disadvantaged, women owned, HUBZone, Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions, service disabled and veteran owned business concerns.
