FISH Day

(Friends Involved with Smithville Habitat)

The Smithville Lake FISH Day  took place on  April 13, 2013.  The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Missouri Department of Conservation, and the Clay County Parks Department placed 150 hardwood brush piles in the lake.  The brush pile coordinates and maps will be available soon.

We will need volunteers to help out with next years event.  If you would like to volunteer for the event, email the Clay County Conservation Agent, Dan Schepis, at Daniel.Schepis@mdc.mo.gov and he will add your contact information to the list.  Please include your name, email address and phone number in the email.
