Outgrant Applicant,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the issuance of an outgrant. Outgrants are complex real estate transactions that require multiple departments' oversight prior to the issuance of the appropriate legal instrument. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District staff is currently reworking procedures regarding the district's outgrant program and request your patience while we work to improve our process.
The district understands the environment in which both the Corps and applicants operate. Our new process is aimed at helping applicants access the timing of outgrant actions and how they relate to other actions such as 404/10 permits, 408s etc., to facilitate the coordination of all these actions.
We are currently accepting outgrant applications. The Real Estate Application Form is available as a downloadable PDF and may be submitted to the Real Estate Division through its electronic mail box at swg-re@usace.army.mil.
