Mariners are advised that lockages at Dardanelle Lock (No. 10) NM 205.5, will require an additional 15 minutes each time the lock level is lowered to the downstream water level. One of the two valves that empties the lock to the downstream water level failed and the additional time reflects use of one valve instead of two. The length of downtime is unknown at this time. Another notice will be distributed when the failed valve is returned to service.
