The mission of the Real Estate Branch is to provide planning, acquisition, appraisal, management and disposal services to the Army, Air Force, and National Guard elements in Alaska. As the executive agent, we manage (lease) the recruiting facilities required for all the armed services in Alaska. The civil works mission is to provide the same services in support of its projects. Real Estate also has the capability of providing reimbursible services to other government agencies.
In times of mobilization and natural or national emergencies or disasters, Real Estate provides alternate housing and administrative or warehouse space, as well as industrial facilities and essential land use permits in support of the emergency relief effort.
