The DON Secretariat now has an accredited commercial cloud solution for hosting Mission Assurance Category (MAC) level III public-facing Sharepoint portals and websites. The solution has been named the SECNAV Portal and is being implemented by the DON AA/Information Technology Division. Use of the SECNAV Portal will achieve significant cost savings. The DON CIO and DON/AA will be working with all Secretariat organizations to migrate public-facing websites/portals to this solution.
