Current Campground Closures

This is a list of current campground closures and partial closures. This list may not be all-inclusive as conditions change rapidly with weather-related closures. We will update campground closures as they are reported by the lake office. We recommend you contact the lake office directly for the most up-to-date information regarding closure of campgrounds.

 

Lake Park Partially Open Closed Comments
Fort Gibson Bluff Landing Closed October 3 to October 17 for repairs.
Fort Gibson  Dam Site South Closed Closed until further notice.
Pine Creek Little River Park Partially Open      "B" area and swim beach closed
Hugo  Kiamichi Park Partially Open   "Q" Road, "N" Road closed
Lake Texoma Preston Bend Closed Closure due to previous flooding.

Reservation Cancellations

For those whose camping reservations are cancelled due to flood closure, please give the National Recreation Reservation System five to seven working days to process cancellations. We recommend you call the NRRS at 877-444-6777 after seven working days to confirm the status of your reservation. Please have your confirmation number available when you call. Representatives from NRRS will notify customers through the automated messaging system.

As park closures are often related to flooding, we recommend visiting our Water Control Data Site to check lake levels before visiting a lake. If you have concerns about flooding at area lakes please contact the relevant lake office where you will be camping or recreating before traveling.
