NWO-2016-00432-RWY - 8/23/2016: Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores has requested authorization to construct a travel stop at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Curtis Street in Laramie, Wyoming. The project purpose is to provide adequate fueling and parking facilities in Laramie for both passenger and commercial vehicles due to frequent local weather related closures and new trucking industry regulations.

WY - Nationwide Permit Reissuance and Proposed Regional Conditions - 6/16/2016: On June 1, 2016, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers published in the Federal Register its proposal to reissue the 50 existing nationwide permits (NWPs) and issue two new NWPs. Nationwide permits are general permits issued on a nationwide basis to streamline the authorization of activities that result in no more than minimal individual and cumulative adverse environmental effects. Comments on national issues relating to these NWPs should be submitted to docket number COE-2015-0017 at www.regulations.gov, or by email to NWP2017@usace.army.mil or by mail to Headquarters, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Directorate of Civil Works, ATTN: CECW-CO-R, 441 G Street, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20314-1000. Comments on regional issues relating to the proposed NWPs and proposed regional conditions should be sent to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, Regulatory Division, Wyoming Office; 2232 Dell Range Blvd, Suite 210; Cheyenne; WY 82009 or DLL-CENWO-WEB-REGULATORY-WY@usace.army.mil. NWO-2013-01209-RWY - 6/16/2016: The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has requested authorization to rehabilitate, widen, and partially reconstruct U.S. Highway 14 south of Burgess Junction (WYDOT Project Number N372005, Burgess Junction South). The project purpose, as identified by the applicant, is to improve public safety, address aging highway infrastructure and improve recreational access to the Bighorn National Forest along U.S. Highway 14. The project would result in the discharge of fill in 0.070 acres of Owen Creek and other tributaries to South Fork of Tongue River and 0.381 acres of adjacent wetlands.
