OD-R 16-002 High Speed Rail Section 408 Review

Union Pacific is proposing alterations to the Wood River Drainage and Levee District to support the purpose of the Chicago to St. Louis High Speed Rail (HSR) program, which is to enhance the passenger transportation network and create a more balanced use of the network between air, automobile, and rail modes of transportation.

OD-R 14-028 Poplar Street Bridge Widening Section 408 Review

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is proposing to widen the Poplar Street Bridge (I-64/I-70/I-55/Highway 40) which crosses the Mississippi River and connects St. Louis, Missouri and East St. Louis, Illinois. The widening of the bridge involves adding a lane in the eastbound direction up to and including widening of the Illinois approach to connect this new lane to the Illinois Route 3 off-ramp from I-64.

Dakota Access Pipeline Section 408 Review

The St. Louis District Office is currently evaluating two segments of the pipeline that cross beneath the Illinois River navigable channel at Milepost (MP) 901 and adjacent levee systems such as Coon Run Levee and McGee Creek Levee. The third segment under review is a pipeline that crosses beneath the Carlyle Lake flowage easement. All of the pipeline segments that lie within the St. Louis District boundary lines are proposed to be buried.
