Privatized Housing

Privatized unaccompanied housing is owned by a private entity and governed by a business agreement in which the Navy has limited rights and responsibilities. The privatized housing management company is entirely responsible for the construction, renovation, maintenance and day-to-day management of the housing. Unaccompanied privatized housing is located both on and off base, and includes conveyed barracks. 


The Navy has two privatized unaccompanied housing developments:


To apply for privatized unaccompanied housing, the Navy UH office or HSC will process your application and refer you to the privatized housing management company that handles all resident matters, including leasing and maintenance.

  2. Pacific Beacon in San Diego, CA
