Navy Region Center Singapore
Navy Region Center Singapore coordinates shore support activities for the Fleet, Figher and Family.
NRCS provides administrative support to nine Navy, Army, Air Force and Joint commands present in Singapore; manages 165 family and bachelor housing units and dozens of command, administrative and warehouse facilities; operates Morale, Welfare and Recreation facilities and programs, and provides a variety of family support services.
Major units located in Singapore supported by NRCS include: Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific (COMLOGWESTPAC); Military Sealift Command Far East (SEALOGFE); Military Sealift Fleet Support Command Ship Support Unit Singapore (MSFSC SSU); Naval Criminal Investigative Service; Fleet Industrial Support Center, Detachment Singapore (FISC); U.S. Coast Guard Detachment Singapore; Defense Contract Management Agency, and the U.S. Air Force's 497th Combat Training Squadron and Air Mobility Squadron Detachment 2.
The NRCS Commanding Officer also is the Sembawang Installation Commanding Officer (ICO) under CNIC, and the Singapore Regional Coordinator. As such he is in charge of Navy shore installation management for Singapore.
