Auditions

We always have need for qualified musicians!  Navy Musicians have the adventure of being a part of "America's Navy" with the job of performing many genres of music, both at home and abroad! We travel frequently, perform in a wide range of venues, and serve as musical ambassadors for the United States and the US Navy.

Auditions are conducted by Navy Bandmasters and their designated representatives at any official Navy Band or the Naval School of Music. For more information on specific audition requirements for your instrument, refer to the Fleet Band Activities Job Opportunities page. To schedule your audition, contact your local Navy Recruiter or the Fleet Band Activities Audition Supervisor at 1-866-827-5672, or by email at Audition Supervisor.

The US Navy Fleet Band Activities' address for standard mail is:

United States Navy Band - Fleet Band Activities
Attn: Audition Supervisor
617 Warrington Ave, S. E.
Washington Navy Yard, D.C. 20374-5054

Notes:  The US Navy does not require doubling on any instrument!
