Mr. Doucette serves as the Chief of Staff and advises the Commander, Vice Commander and Executive Director on a broad range of operational issues affecting the 25th Air Force. His office develops plans, policies, and directives to affect smooth interface with subordinate and associate units and higher headquarters. As Chief of Staff, he coordinates functions and activities for the more than 26,000 military and civilian personnel to ensure 25th Air Force objectives are attained. The office reviews and approves all staff proposals, ensuring consistency with command policies, objectives and requirements.

Following a stint as a Congressional staffer, Mr. Doucette was hired by the U.S. Air Force in 1992 and has worked a variety of assignments ranging from the unified command level to produce strategic and tactical intelligence studies; the major command echelon to provide indications and warning assessments and support to air operations center missions; the wing level for operational requirement generation, and HQ USAF to manage organize, train and equip issues and develop sensitive information warfare programs. In 2002, he was commissioned into the U.S. Air Force Reserve as an intelligence officer. Finishing first in his class, then Lt. Doucette was awarded the Major General Willard W. Milikan honor graduate trophy.
