Barker, the commanding general of the 310th ESC, to introduce ourselves to him and brief him on our job specialties. The group reflected the years of experience of the 310th ESC warrant officer corps and the incredible variation in terms of service for our warrant officers, but one thing that was immediately apparent to me was that we need new blood in our ranks.

Nevertheless, the Soldiers of the Army Reserve’s 766th Transportation Battalion battled the extreme winter weather and field conditions to keep the mission rolling during Warrior Exercise 78-16-01 (WAREX).

February 26, 2016 - Twenty-five years have passed since an Iraqi Scud missile destroyed the building of the 14th Quartermaster Detachment, just six days into their deployment in Operation Desert Storm, Saudi Arabia. Former Soldiers of the unit and family members of the fallen showed up to support each other here, Feb. 25, 2016.
February 25, 2016 - Reminiscing while assisting with the 25th anniversary memorial service for the 14th Quartermaster Detachment in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, Feb. 25, 2016, Staff Sgt. January 12, 2016 - In the United States Army Reserve it’s common to hear the term Twice the Citizen referencing a wide-range of ability and expertise among Army Reserve Soldiers. During a promotion ceremony held at the Army Reserve Sustainment Command (ARSC) in Birmingham, this term was taken one step further. Chaplain (Maj.) Jeffery Bush, command chaplain of the ARSC was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel.
January 11, 2016 - Soldiers, family members and friends gathered to give special recognition to Lt. Col. Jackie Crittenden and Lt. Col. Alan Sconiers, Soldiers of the Army Reserve Sustainment Command (ARSC) in Birmingham, Ala. The retirement ceremony marked the closing out of their military careers which spanned 68 years of dedicated service.
January 11, 2016 - On a crisp and beautiful Sunday morning, Jan. 10, 2016, at March Air Reserve Base the 304th Sustainment Brigade (Special Troops Battalion) conduct a mobilization ceremony to formally say farewell to the families of the soldiers deploying on a year long deployment to Fort Bliss, Texas.

Frist Army Reserve Center on Fort Benjamin Harrison for a day of partnership building and coordination with the 2015 Indianapolis Recruiting Battalion Partnership Zone Conference, Oct. 24.
October 27, 2015 - FORT BELVOIR, Va. – A unit born on the rails reemerged on the water in an historic ceremony that activated the 3d Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) making it the first watercraft brigade in the Army Reserve. The event was just the beginning of a busy summer and fall that saw notable training with its active duty counterpart, the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary), and the addition of more units to its footprint. For 3d TB (X) Commander Col. David Roscoe, it is an exciting time to be in the Army watercraft business.
October 21, 2015 - Soldiers of the Army Reserve Sustainment Command took part in an assumption of command ceremony Oct. 17 in Birmingham, Alabama. During the ceremony, the command and colors of the ARSC were passed from Maj. Gen. Les Carroll, commanding general of the 377th Theater Sustainment Command of Belle Chasse, Louisiana to Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Doll as he assumed control of the ARSC.
September 24, 2015 - The 3rd Logistical Civil Augmentation Program Support Battalion conducted a change of command ceremony on Sept. 19, 2015. Col. Thomas Niles, commander of the LOGCAP Support Brigade presided over the ceremony and spoke highly of the battalion.
July 14, 2015 - FORT BRAGG, N.C. - Approximately 1,100 U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers from 18 states participated in the Quartermaster Liquid Logistics Exercise conducted at Forward Operating Base Patriot on Fort Bragg, N.C. They came from as far away as Michigan and Puerto Rico and as near as North Carolina to haul fuel for the Defense Logistics Agency. They were also there to purify and distribute water, cook for the troops, clean laundry, provide field showers and other tasks necessary to complete the mission.
July 14, 2015 - FORT DEVENS, Mass. - The stakes were higher than ever for 10 U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers competing in the 377th Theater Sustainment Command Best Warrior Competition held for the first time this year at Fort Devens, Massachusetts. Only one noncommissioned officer and one junior Soldier could represent the 377th TSC at the U.S. Army Reserve Command’s competition, and only the best rose to the top during the weeklong event April 13-17.
