ARMEDCOM Map

Functionally aligned to U.S. Army Medical Command, Army Reserve Medical Command is uniquely capable of providing medical, dental and veterinary services as well as providing assistance to civil authorities during an emergency or disaster.

In 2016, ARMEDCOM mobilized 475 Soldiers to provide world-class healthcare to 21 installations
nationwide and European Health Command.

Concurrently,ARMEDCOM provided more than 2,000 Soldiers to total force training and mission support, engaged in 64 major exercises across 41 locations designing, executing and assessing individual and collective training while delivering healthcare to  exercise participants.

In September 2016, ARMEDCOM completed a HQDA-directed transformation, increasing from 76 to 119 units.

ARMEDCOM seamlessly synchronizes reserve medical units with USAMEDCOM Medical Treatment Facilities. The major subordinate headquarters focus on training, professional management, credentialing and mission command of medical units.

Unique to the Army Reserve, Medical Readiness and Training Command provides and resources “joint, multi-national collective training” to medical unit sand Soldiers for contingency operations while sustaining modularity of ready medical forces in support of civil affairs nation building and homeland operations.

Three Regional Training Sites serve as training platforms for DoD medical units by providing specialized medical individual/collective training and biomedical maintenance support.

October 7, 2016 - Friday, Sept. 16, marked transformation for Army Reserve Medical Command, after proposed changes were submitted in 2013 to better align the command with their active component counterpart, Army Medical Command.
September 21, 2016 - The medical skills of Army Reserve Soldiers from Tampa-based 7222nd and Orlando-based 7235th Medical Support Units were tested during a joint mass casualty training exercise held on 10-11 Sept.

September 15, 2016 - The Eighth Commanding General of U.S. Army Reserve Command, Lt. Gen. Charles D. Luckey, made his first visit to Army Reserve Medical Command since assuming duties as the Chief of Army Reserve and Commanding General, United States Army Reserve Command on 30 June 2016.
