Infectious Disease Physician for the U. S. Defense Institute for Medical Operations (DIMO), Dr. Matthew Dolan, and Dr. Khadidja Harrell, International Health Specialist, Command Surgeon, help members of the Gabonese military with the proper steps of donning personal protective equipment (PPE) as part of a military-to-military engagement in Libreville, Gabon in October 2014. DIMO, along with U.S. Africa Command and Gabonese Military Medical personnel and the country’s Ministry of Health (MOH) are in partnership for a mission to identify and develop the infection control activities framework that will strengthen Gabonese defense capabilities.
