Burden became Deputy Program Executive Officer Ammunition and Senior Commander Picatinny Arsenal on October 20, 2014, leading the mission to develop and procure conventional and leap-ahead munitions to increase the Warfighter's combat power. Prior to his arrival to Picatinny, BG Burden served as the Deputy to the Deputy for Acquisition and Systems Management for the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology - Pentagon.
