WELCOME to the VLCOE

The Vertical Lift Center of Excellence (VLCOE) was established by Congress to advance the state of DoD vertical lift operations and technologies through research, education and training and technology transfer.

The VLCOE has been established at the Model Depot Facility at Cherry Point, NC (Fleet Readiness Center-East) where processes can be both researched and defined. The VLCOE offers many resources about recent developments and the state of vertical lift operations and maintenance technologies. These resources are made available at conferences and tradeshows as well as in the library section of this web site.
