Navy EOD Tech Awarded Bronze Star  (15 January 2015)
An explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 12 was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his actions during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan in an award ceremony held on Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story, Jan. 12.

Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 12 Command Master Chief Petty Officer Bryan Bymer was relieved of his duties Jan. 23 as a result of misconduct.
