Operational forces conduct multi-discipline intelligence operations in support of Army Service Component Commands (ASCC),contingency operations, and regionally aligned INSCOM units. These units conduct operational intelligence production, downward reinforcing tactical intelligence collection, analysis, and Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination.

The Army Reserve Intelligence Support Centers (ARISCs) provide multi-discipline intelligence training and reach-back support for every echelon of command. The ARISCs and their detachments house state-of-the-art intelligence architectures and are the theater anchor points for MIRC operations.


Army Reserve Elements support Combatant Command intelligence requirements during peacetime and crisis with a primary focus on intelligence analysis and production.



The National Intelligence Support Group (NISG) provides operational and strategic intelligence capabilities to Combat Support Agencies and the Department of State.
