NSA Panama City is back to TCCOR 5

 

Naval Support Activity Panama City has returned to seasonal Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness 5. TCCOR 5 is the normal operating posture of an installation during the Atlantic Hurricane Season which runs from June 1 - November 30. NSA Panama City Sailors, Civilians and their families should always be prepared for a tropical storm at any time during the season. Members can be ready by visiting www.ready.gov for tips on preparing for inclement weather.

Installation Information

NSA Panama City carries out its mission: "Naval Support Activity Panama City's professional military and civilian personnel deliver an integrated suite of efficient, effective, and responsive shore capabilities, to enable and sustain the readiness of tenant activites," on 657 acres located on the Florida Panhandle near the warm emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

 

NSA PC recieves 2015 Pete Taylor Partnership of Excellence Award

The Pete Taylor Award indicatates NSA PC's continued dedication to the Bay Area Education Alliance through thier continued support and mentorship to the local school systems.

NSA PC Fire Department earns its International Accredidation

NSA PC Fire Department is one of three in the Department of Defense, and one of 20 of civilian fire stations in the state of Florida with this international accreditation.

Gulf Guardian Award

The Gulf of Mexico Program named Naval Support Activity Panama City as the First Place 2013 Gulf Guardian Award winner in the Partnership Category for the Panama City Living Shoreline Restoration Project.  See link to this facebook video for more information.

The United States established the Days of Remembrance in 1979 in memory of the victims of the Holocaust, this years ceremonial theme is, "Never Again, heading the warning signs."
