Accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), we provide full-time and drop-in childcare for children of active duty military and DOD employees.  The Center offers a quality child development program provided for children ages six weeks through five years.

Our center-based program allows opportunities for your child to socialize with other children his/her age in a setting designed for young children in a classroom environment. All child development programs utilize Creative Curriculum educational resources. Nutritious meals are prepared on-site that offer a variety of color and texture, meeting the meal pattern requirements set by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child Care Food Program (CCFP).

The Scott Center Annex CDC provides full-time and drop-in childcare for children of active duty military and DOD employees.  The Center offers a quality child development program provided for children ages six weeks through two years of age. The hours of care are 0600 a.m. to 1800 p.m. Monday through Friday.


24/7 Child Development Center

The 24/7 Child Development Center provide high-quality educational and recreational programs for children and youth, 24 hours, seven days a week; specifically designed and operated to meet the unique needs of the military services members and their families.  The 24/7 program services is available to all Active Duty Military Personnel and DOD Civilian Personnel (watchstanders and shift workers) who do not work normal working hours of 0600-1800. Drop-in childcare services are also available.


Youth Center

The Youth Center which is accredited by the Council on Accreditation offers an array of quality programs for ages 5 - 18 years of age.  The center provides activities which meet the social, physical and emotional needs of the children.  Children may participate in various programs such as holiday and seasonal camps and activities, movies, dances, carnivals, sports leagues, and other community based programs and activities.  The School Age Care (SAC) program is a before and after school and half day kindergarten care program.  The SAC program provides transportation to and from local public schools.  This structured program encourages participation in the arts, education and career development, character and leadership, health and life skills, and sports, fitness and recreation.  Some events and activities are sponsored on the weekend.


School Liaison Program

The School Liaison Program provides assistance to school aged children of military parents with educational opportunities and information necessary to succeed in an academic environment. School liaison officers also network, educate and work in partnership with local schools to provide caring adults to enhance the education experience. The purpose of the program is to support transitioning military families in obtaining educational information and assistance from local school districts.  

Goals include:  identify barriers to academic success and develop solutions; promote parental involvement in their children's education; develop and coordinate partnerships in education; provide parents with the tools they need to overcome obstacles to education that stem from the military lifestyle; and to promote and educate local communities and schools regarding the needs of military children.
