Latest alerts and guidance from SOUTHCOM leadership is sent through multiple channels.  We recommend checking one or more of the below to ensure you have the latest guidance. 

LATEST HURRICANE MATTHEW GUIDANCE & REPORTING STATUS

(As of 7 October, 1100)

SOUTHCOM has returned to Hurricane Readiness Condition 4. Friday, 7 October is a family day and leave admin day for nonmission essential civilians. Designated crisis response personnel continue 24/7 operations in support of Hurricane Matthew.  Report as normal on Tuesday, 11 October. Hurricane hotline is 305 437 3919.

Any follow-on guidance and alerts via AtHoc notification and accountability system supercede the above guidance.

Mobile and Email Alerts

Alerts (via the AtHoc notification and accountability system) are sent to your personal email and mobile devices (if you signed up for them in SCEMS).

Hurricane Hotline

You can also call the Hurricane Hotline at 305-437-3919 for latest updates.  The Hurricane Hotline will ONLY be updated when guidance from SOUTHCOM Chief of Staff changes.
