Welcome to NAS Whiting Field and North West Florida, home to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Whiting Field is the busiest Naval Air Station in the world, responsible for an estimated 46 percent of the Chief of Naval Air Training Command's total flight time and over 10 percent of Navy and Marine Corps total flight time. Over 1,200 personnel complete their essential flight training here yearly.
Whiting Field is located in Milton, Florida in Santa Rosa County, which is serviced by the Santa Rosa County School Board. The school system also boasts:

NAS Whiting Field has an excellent relationship with all the local school districts and has developed numerous partnerships within the community. Again, welcome aboard! My main objective is to serve as a link between the parents, the educators, and the command so that your child can have a smooth academic transition (PCS). My other duties include supporting partnerships in education, providing home school linkage and support, educating parents about post-secondary preparations, providing deployment support, and serving as a subject matter expert for education related issues. I can also assist parents with navigating through the Exceptional Student Educational waters and refer you to other resources that can help your family members that have exceptional needs. My office is located inside the Child Development Center on Base. I am available at any time for you to make an appointment. I make a point to be in my office on Thursdays from 0730-1130 for walk-ins. On Mondays, I am available at the Navy Hospital in Pensacola to assist families there.
