The Small Business Office
The Small Business Office at the Mississippi Valley Division leads and supervises the division’s relations with small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, service disabled veteran owned small businesses (SDVOSB’s), HUBZone businesses, woman-owned businesses and Historically Black Colleges & Universities and Minority Institutions.
The Chief of MVD’s Small Business Office also supports the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division Small Business Office, and is physically located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
If you have a small or small disadvantaged business the Small Business Office at the district office located nearest you can be a great resource for finding current and future solicitations.
In order to certify itself as a small disadvantaged business, 8(a) or HUBZone firm must now be certified by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Information on these certification requirements is accessible at the Small Business Administration website.
