Missile Defense Career Development Program

MDA offers entry-level opportunities through the Missile Defense Career Development Program (MDCDP) and MDCDP—Recent Graduate (MDCDP-RG).

What Is the MDCDP/MDCDP-RG?

Entry Level OpportunitiesIt is an exciting, hands-on approach that will give you the specific skills and experience on cutting-edge technology to put you on a fast track to success in the missile defense community. During this three-year program you will acquire valuable technical and work-related skills through rotational assignments that include seminars, formal classroom training, and on-the-job training. MDA will pair you with a mentor who will help you evaluate your career path as well as opportunities for professional and personal growth. You will work hand-in-hand with industry partners who develop our technology — managing, overseeing, and helping guide development that keeps America safe.

The Benefits

Along with the salary, training, and all of the benefits of federal employment, you will be eligible for promotion opportunities throughout the program and may be able to take advantage of continuing education opportunities, recruitment, and/or relocation bonuses, and repayment of student loans.
