Matters Relating to the Uniform Code of Military Justice

The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), is the primary legal code which all internal military justice matters are governed and applies to all members of the U.S. Armed Services.

If you have concerns involving court-martial offenses, non-judicial punishment actions (Article 15 proceedings or Captain’s Mast) and/or applicable appeals processes, you will need to consult with the servicing Judge Advocate General (JAG) or Staff Judge Advocate (SJA).

These offices can provide legal guidance on the processes which will best address your concerns, to include your appeal rights, if any.
