Army Reserve combat engineers from the 374th Engineer Company (Sapper), headquartered in Concord, Calif., conducted a Sapper Leader Course Prerequisite Training in a field environment at Camp San Luis Obispo, Calif., in July to prepare a select number of Soldiers for the elite Sapper Leader Course.

OUR MISSION: 
The 416th Theater Engineer Command conducts theater-level engineer operations supporting a joint force, executing full spectrum operations while providing trained and ready units to support mission requirements world-wide.

OUR VISION:
Engineering encompasses a preparatory posture that trains personnel on specialized equipment for engineer-focused missions as well as technical rescue in support of the Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF). 

We are an Integral part of the Army Reserve Warfight and ultimately a necessary component homeland national defense. Our goal is to use every mission as an opportunity to strengthen our Force and improve resilience.
