The facility spends about $10 million each year in small purchases with vendors in the Inland Empire - a number that is rising annually as the reinvention of government allows us to spend more money locally instead of nationally. Service contracts, janitorial services, landscaping, and other aspects of running a 250-acre facility add additional revenue to Southland businesses.
Visitors to the base provide nearly $4 million in revenue to local hotels, restaurants and businesses.
All in all, NSWC Corona is responsible for hundred of millions in revenue to the Inland Empire each year.
