DON Information Assurance Policy Released

SECNAVINST 5239.3B: "DON Information Assurance Policy" was recently signed establishing IA policy for the Department of the Navy consistent with national and Department of Defense policies. With its 56 references, it provides IA policy for the Department over a broad spectrum, and assigns responsibilities in the DON for developing, implementing, managing and evaluating DON IA programs, policies, procedures and controls.
