Mission

SOCAFRICA, as part of a global team of national and international partners, conducts persistent, networked and distributed special operations in direct support of the United States Africa Command to promote regional stability and prosperity in Africa.

Our Core Tasks

We will, without fail, deter and defeat transnational threats by:

• Countering violent extremism
• Strengthening the defense capabilities of African states and regional organizations
• Protecting U.S. interests in Africa
