This page is intended to provide new information and/or updates related to matters pertaining to the Defense Information Systems Network (DISN).

September 3, 2015: NEW Support services provided by the Defense Information System Network (DISN) Global Support Center (DGSC) will be discontinued in Columbus, Ohio.  This change is part of the Agency Service Desk consolidation effort. The primary function the DGSC provided was for Service Request (SR) support services. DISA will continue to provide this service via other DISA organizations.

August 21, 2015: Download the updated version of the Establish and Connect to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) Customer Ordering Guide. The Guide has updated information for the Private Data Internet Service.

April 1, 2015: Join the Risk Adjudication and Connection Division for an in-depth training and live question and answer session covering the Cross Domain Solutions Connection Approval Phases. The Training + Q&A will be held on Tuesday, April 7th at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST. Watch trainings and find attendance information on our website.

March 3, 2015: Effective February 25, 2015, VPN services have been updated to reflect the newest and most accurate information for ordering.  In addition, the Customer Ordering Guides have been updated and consolidated into one guide.

December 17, 2014: In order to comply with DOD Instructions 8520.02, DISA is in the process of changing the authentication options for DISA Direct. This change will remove the capability to utilize User ID and passwords. View the document PKI Enforcement Communications.

December 5, 2014: The DISN Connection Process Guide (CPG) version 5.0 is now available to download or view the Connection Process Guide through the integrated content on DISA.mil. This release provides major updates with information on the transition to the RMF, an updated CDS section, updates to the RCM section (Scans) including information on a pilot program, and other information as detailed in the DISN CPG 5.0 Revisions document, as well as the CPG Executive Summary.
