Resources

At DVBIC, we’re committed to providing resources on traumatic brain injury (TBI) to help service members, veterans, family members and health care providers. These resources fall into two major categories: clinical tools and patient education fact sheets. Many resources are available for download or can be ordered at no cost. For more information, please visit Frequently Asked Questions. Browse all of our resources below to get started. You can also use the search feature to locate the resources that best meet your needs.

Clinical Tools

DVBIC develops practical, easy-to-use clinical tools to support military and civilian health care providers in assessing and treating service members and veterans who have sustained a TBI. Providers can access clinically-relevant information and resources that address common symptoms associated with mild TBI, such as dizziness, sleep disturbances and vision problems. The clinical tools include clinical recommendations, support tools, training slides, fact sheets and brochures. Check out our Clinical Tools.

Fact Sheets

DVBIC offers a variety of educational information and resources to help patients and their families learn about mild, moderate, severe or penetrating TBI. The topics covered include signs and symptoms, coping and recovery, and prevention. Through fact sheets, as well as booklets and guides, service members and veterans can learn more about the common challenges experienced by people after sustaining a brain injury. Families can access helpful information to support their loved ones affected by TBI. Check out our Fact Sheets.
