Capt. Jeff Dodge, a Seattle, Washington native, is a 1991 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. He was designated as a naval aviator in 1993.

Dodge's operational assignments include Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron (HSL) Light  45, HSL- 49 and USS Peleliu (LHA 5). He served as executive officer of the pre-establishment unit for the Navy’s first fleet MH-60R squadron, becoming the second commanding officer of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 71 and leading the “Raptors” on their first deployment. Under his leadership the squadron earned the Battle Efficiency Award, the Fleet Retention Award and the Arnold J. Isbell Trophy for anti-surface warfare and anti-submarine warfare excellence.

His shore assignments include the U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, Navy Rotary Wing Aircraft Test Squadron, and The Joint Staff. After joining the acquisition community, he supported the Tactical Airlift, Adversary and Support Aircraft Program Office (PMA-207), Navy Unmanned Combat Air System Program Office (PMA-268)  and Aerial Targets and Decoys Program Office (PMA-208).

Dodge has accumulated more than 3,500 flight hours in over 20 different model aircraft.  His personal awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, and the Meritorious Service Medal.
