Talking with someone about what's happening at home isn't a bad idea. In fact, it can help you feel better and not alone. But taking that first step to talk can be hard. Talking with your other parent or another trusted adult is a good first step in getting help. You may be tempted to first try and talk with your parent with PTS about what's happening, but he may not be ready to share what he's feeling. He may not understand what's happening to him either. Once he gets help and feels better, it's likely that you two will be able to talk about what's happening.
