We refer to our learning management system as the STEPP system. This is where we maintain the list of courses that we provide and where your student information and your course transcripts are maintained. The online courses that we provide are also part of this system. Please be advised that CDSE courses are intended for use by Department of Defense and other U.S. Government personnel and contractors within the National Industrial Security Program.

STEPP News & Announcements

Starting Oct. 17, 2016, the current DSS National Industrial Security Program (NISP) Common Access Information Security System (NCAISS) will undergo a technology refresh. The functionality of the updated NCAISS application will remain the same as is currently available; however, some minor visual differences in the user interface (i.e., look and feel) will occur after the refresh. To view the "NEW" user interface, go to http://www.dss.mil/diss/ncaiss.html under "News/Updates".

Starting 01 November 2016, CDSE will no longer offer JPAS/JCAVS Virtual Training for Security Professionals.  As a result, students will not be able to register for, access, or complete the course and exam after 31 October 2016.  If you have registered for these activities and do not complete the activities by this date, please be advised your enrollment will automatically be cancelled.
