4th Infantry Division to support Operation Atlantic Resolve
The 4th ID will provide division-level command and control for U.S. Army forces supporting Operation Atlantic Resolve.

STUTTGART, Germany -- Approximately 100 Soldiers from the 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colorado, will deploy to Europe in support of Operation Atlantic Resolve early next year.

The 4th ID will provide division-level command and control for Army forces supporting Operation Atlantic Resolve, and is the first division-level headquarters to deploy to Europe as part of the Regional Alignment concept.

The 4th ID will continue to train alongside our NATO allies and partner nations in the region, which will continue to strengthen our interoperability and partner capacity. Operation Atlantic Resolve is a continued demonstration of the United States' commitment to the collective security of our NATO allies and support for our partners in Europe, in light of the on-going Russian intervention in Ukraine. The operation will remain in place as long as required to reassure our allies.
