Master Chief Beauchamp

Command Master Chief ​Team ships



Master Chief Beauchamp is a native of Santa Ana, California and graduated from Orange High School in 1991. Upon graduation he immediately entered the U.S. Navy attending basic training in Orlando, FL in June 1991.

After completing Recruit Training in August of 1991, he followed on to Electronic Warfare "A" and "C" School in Pensacola Fl.

Master Chief Beauchamp's previous assignments include: USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71), USS CHANCELLORSVILLE (CG 62), Naval Recruiting District Los Angeles, California, USS RENTZ (FFG 46), and Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL.

In June of 2007, he reported to USS JOHN L HALL (FFG 32) for assignment as Command Senior Chief. In May of 2009, he was advanced to Master Chief and subsequently selected as the Command Master Chief of Destroyer Squadron FOURTEEN in June 2010. In August of 2013 Command Master Chief Beauchamp was selected for duty as the first Command Master Chief for PCU ZUMWALT (DDG 1000). In May, he transferred to Program Executive Office, Ships (PEO Ships), as Team Ships Command Master Chief.

Master Chief Beauchamp's awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (three awards), Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), and various unit and campaign ribbons. He is entitled to wear the Enlisted Surface Warfare Insignia, and has earned his certification as a Master Training Specialist.

Master Chief Beauchamp earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Leadership, a graduate of the Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy (CLASS 125), CMC/COB course (Class 25), National Defense University Keystone course and Naval Postgraduate School Navy Senior Leader Seminar.
